About Us

The Healthcare Coalition Cooperative (HCC) is a Wisconsin cooperative established in 1991.  The vision of the HCC "fosters an environment in which Member Employers can share in the development and access of high quality and cost effective employee benefit programs and services." As of 2007, the HCC membership is approximately 6,200 covered employees and growing.  Employers such as Manitowoc Company, the County and the School District as well as Jagemann Stamping, Lakeside Foods, Northern Labs and several other employers are members of the Coalition.


Mission Statement:


Through collaboration, the HCC provides ideas and resources to Member Employers that inform, educate, and collectively purchase and manage the overall cost of employee benefit programs.  Through association with the HCC, Member Employers can most effectively:


      -- Become better purchasers of employee benefit programs and services;


-- Assist employees in becoming better consumers of health care;


-- Promote health, wellness and disease management;


-- Affect the economic health of the community by stabilizing benefit costs;


-- Work with political and legislative issues relating to employee benefit programs; and


-- Engage in ongoing, meaningful discussions with local employee benefit providers.
