HumanaDental


Self-funded Dental Claims Administration & PPO Network

HCC member employers have the opportunity to experience significant savings on their dental program administration and claims.  On average, HumanaDental network dentists in Manitowoc County provide a claims savings of 12%.  There is no set-up fee to move your dental claims administration to HumanaDental.

HCC Member Cost:  $2.50 per enrolled employee per month claims processing administrative fee

Patient Advocacy Services


Patient Care provides employees and their family members with advocates who work with them, their physicians and their health plan to resolve medical, dental and vision issues. The advocates take the time to educate the member on their healthcare purchasing behavior.  This problem resolution, communication and education delivers a measurable return on investment to the employer and their employees.  The Call First component of the program allows patients to obtain cost and quality information for a particular procedure at specific provider locations.

WisconsinRx


Pharmacy Benefit Management Services


Faced with escalating prescription drug costs, a coalition of employer groups collaborated to create the not-for-profit Wisconsin Prescription Drug Purchasing Coalition called WisconsinRx.  The coalition brings businesses together to purchase prescription drugs.


What is the purpose of WisconsinRx?


--To control the cost of prescription drugs.

--To ensure a high quality of prescription drug care for employees.

--To provide access to participating pharmacies in a statewide network.

--To provide a high level of service to member organizations.

--To be a watchdog over the business practices of pharmaceutical companies and the pharmacy benefit manager (PBM).

--Honest pricing - no hidden costs.


WisconsinRx has selected Caremark, one of the largest PBM?s in the industry, to manage and process claims.  Caremark has sophisticated systems capability and access to a broad range of clinical resources that are available to WisconsinRx members.  WisconsinRx has secured extremely aggressive pricing terms with Caremark.  Caremark has committed to transparency of pricing and is willing to support a Wisconsin-developed preferred prescription drug list based on clinical evidence, not on advertising.


HCC member coalition costs:


--$.20 per member per month

--Reduced one time enrollment fee of $1 per employee

--$1.75 per retail rx dispensing fee ($0 for mail order)

--$0 administrative fee


Rebates:


--95% or $3.03 per claim retail

--95% or $11.59 per claim mail order
